I emailed the local council to see whats required to create a street library.

Turns out its a flat out denial. I can put one on my land that is accessible to those that pass by, as long as it is safely done.

However the thought of it being on council land is a complete non-starter.

So here ends a nice thought.

~650 books will go to the local tip, hopefully their tip-shop will be able to sell them on.
